CAES1001 is a course designed to equip first-year undergraduates with essential academic English literacy skills for success in an English-medium university environment. The course aims to enhance students’ proficiency and confidence in oral, written, and visual communication. It develops critical reading, information, and digital literacy skills, explores academic rhetoric across various formats, and prepares students to apply these skills in Common Core Courses (CCC).

Students must enroll in CAES1001 during their first year of studies. All first-year students are welcome to join us!
